HUGS FOR LIFE MISSIONS AND GOALS

We would like to present you with the opportunity of getting involved in a life-changing event.

Our Missions and goals are to raise the awareness of the suicide rate.

We intend to promote and hold public and private activities, and in addition, distribution of various items of worth featuring the “Hugs for Life” logo. We will gladly accept monetary as well as product contributions to disperse as we see fit, to raise awareness to this cause.

We intend to manufacture and or purchase Brochure racks to be donated at no cost to area schools, both public and private, and Family Centers. Information to be placed in these racks is to be coordinated with N.A.M.I. and / or other officially recognized Suicide / Mental Health Organizations. Said information also to be available via our website www.hugsforlife.info

Hugs for Life… Providing compassion and awareness on suicide prevention…..One Hug at a time.

Teens of today’s society are feeling trapped, helpless, and are not aware of all the help and options that are readily available to them. They do not know any other way out of what seems to be something they may not overcome. Suicide is a subject that in general, people are not comfortable talking about. If we could change this and make it a comfortable word to say, and associate it with PREVENTION & AWARENESS, we can make a difference and lower the suicide rate that is way too high.

We will be holding several different fundraisers to raise the money necessary to ensure that every school and other organization that would like to have a brochure rack filled with information has one. There are a total of 820 schools in Utah. One of many fundraisers will be a Classic Charity Car Show held annually to help reach our goal. There will also be a SOCK HOP and ICE CREAM SOCIAL.
The TOTAL amount of profit raised by HUGS FOR LIFE will be working towards putting a stop to the ever-growing amounts of teen suicides every year.
